Bad news if you're intending on travelling by train to Blackburn on
Wednesday. The ASLEF train drivers for First North Western have gone
on strike for two days, severely affecting services.
The train company has advised that no passenger services will run.

A reminder to all Season Ticket Holders - you must have your
season ticket book with your to gain admittance this year. The voucher
alone will see you refused entry. This does not apply to Corporate Season
Ticket holders. The Fan Card is not needed for home game admittance.

If you have been sent both a Season Ticket Fan Card and
an ETC Fan Card you will need to return the ETC card - ring the ETC
office on 0151 261 1444 to confirm.

We have been passed by RAWK
an analysis of a copy of a report on the proposed new stadium for LFC.
Complete copies of the report are currently being circulated to consultees.
You may have seen some of this before but we thought it would be of

Blackburn away (28/8) ticket info - the club has received 7063 tickets
priced £26 adults, £15 senior citizens, £11 child
(15 and under). Voucher 22, Serial numbers: ALL. No
fan card needed. On sale Thursday 15th August by post and from the
ticket office.

Villa away: The club has a few Villa away tickets left and have extended
the sale to serial number 5.

Aston Villa away (18/8) ticket info - the club has received 2831 tickets
in the North Stand priced £21 adults, £10 child. Voucher
21, Serial numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. No fan
card needed (as they're still arriving ....). On sale Wednesday
7th August by post and from the ticket office.

RIP Nessie Shankly - Bill Shankly's widow Nessie died this afternoon
at the age of 82 after a long illness. All of us at ILSA would like
to pass on our condolences to the family of Nessie - a generous and
strong woman who would never turn down a request from a younger fan
to show them where the great man lived. A great woman passed away today.

We are currently trying to find out more information from the club concerning
the new Fan Cards that are currently being sent to all Season Ticket
holders, and what effect these cards will have on the way away ticketing
is organised next season. As soon as we hear anything we'll let you
know.
