European away game information
Ticket Applications
In order to apply for match tickets and travel to away European fixtures
you will need to be a member of LFC's European Travel Club. The ETC
ceased taking renewals and new memberships for this season
on August 21st. Everyone who replied on or before that date should have
received an ETC membership card.
All season ticket holders are automaticaly enrolled in the ETC and
their Fan Card covers ETC membership.
PTS members Fan Cards do not entitle them to be members
of the ETC.
To apply:
Season ticket holders should write to the ticket office
enclosing the following information: ST fan card number, an open cheque
made payable to Liverpool Football Club, return stamped addressed envelope,
intended form and dates of travel together with details of accommodation,
daytime telephone number.
ETC members should complete a European Travel Club Application Form
(supplied with their card) together with an open cheque payable to LFC
and a stamped address envelope.
The club only accept originals but in an emergency a scanned version
of last season's ticket form is available in jpg format here>>
or in downloadable pdf format here>>
You
will need Acrobat Reader to view pdf documents
If travelling independently we advise applying to the club as soon as
possible for away tickets as LFC rarely announce early ticket information
for European away games and deal with applications on a first come,
first served basis. For later games, the club last season operated a
loyalty scheme with those who travelled to earlier games independently
getting priority for independent tickets later in the season. This may
be extended with the introduction of the Fan Cards.

Valencia are a club based on
the eastern Spanish coast and well remembered by Reds for our visit
in the UEFA Cup in 1998. They have expanded the capacity of their Mestalla
ground since our visit and and the capacity is now 53,000. Valencia
reached the 2000 and 2001 Champions League finals and last season won
the Spanish Liga. The nearest cheap flights fly into Barcelona, Madrid,
Alicante and Murcia. Manolo's bar is still open.
Basel knocked Celtic out in the third
qualifying round and are current Swiss champions. The town is on the
Swiss-French border with Geneva, Zurich and Strasbourg all within 3
hours travelling by train. They play at the intimidating and recently
built St. Jakob stadium which has a 33,433 capacity.
